Hi,
We have registered a SIP client to a recently purchased PA1+. The client is registered and we can make outbound calls via the web gui to test. However incoming calls are rejected by the device.
I have run a Wireshark trace via the PA1+ and it shows the calls hitting the device but being rejected. Does anyone know of any settings that are needed to allow the calls to route. All we have added so far is the username, password and registrar under identity 1.

Nov 08, 2024Hi,
The only things that should affect the SIP registration are the SIP account and password, the username and the registrar (or the proxy, if there is one)
But the PA1 seems registered as it's able to make calls
The device rejecting the call can depend on different issues related to codecs for example, or encryption (if TLS or SRTP are in use) or others
Enabling this may help on some platforms user_sipusername_as_line
It's impossible to say without debugging this using the SIP trace, the SIP response to the Invite on an incoming call may give you more information but for us to investigate this we would need a private ticket, which you can raise if you're a Snom partner
Thank you
