Hello,

We currently have a M700 multicell deployment with M65, M70, M80, M85.
Our PBX is 3cx.
We want to start adding the M900 Dect stations in our multicell deployment and I found the following information:

According to this site: DECT M-Series Firmware - Snom Service Hub - Snom Service Hub

1) If you want to operate the "M900" base station with the "M65 or M85" handsets, please note that you must update the "M900" to at least version "530 - B7" and the handsets to "530 - B7". Start with the base station. It is best to update all devices to the same, latest FW version.

2) If you want to operate the "M300/M700" base station with the "M70, M80 or M90" handsets, please note that you must update the "M300/M700" to at least version "530 - B7" and the handsets to "530 - B7". Start with the base station. It is best to update all devices to the same, latest FW version.

The latest firmware for the M700 is the BSV530B2.

This means that the M900 can be upgraded till BSV530B2 since all of the Dect stations need to be on the same firmware.

But according to 1) & 2) we need this firmware: BSV530B7

Therefore my question:
Is it not possible for M700 & M900 to co-exist in a multicell environment and both of them to be able to handle the M65, M70, M80, M85 phones?

    Hi,

Those warnings refer to a firmware V530B7 which was pulled since it contained a small but, it will be replaced by V530B9 very soon.

In the meantime the information isn't fully correct, as M900 and M700/M300 can work with all the handsets even on FW version V530B2: please use that and everything should work as expected, the only handset you won't be able to use is the new M30 (only working with the M900/M400 base stations on a firmware at least V610B3).

I already informed our documentation team to fix the warnings in our public page, thank you.
