Hi, i have a question: How long does it needs to update the Firmware vom the M70. I have updatet the M900 and have registered the M70 on the M900, now it should get the needet update automatic but after 7 houers, nothing happens.

    Hi,

    If the firmware upgrade was triggered when the handsets were not registered, they will no upgrade automatically.

    In general you can trigger it again just for the handsets (leave the version and branch to "0" for the base station) and remember to keep them in their charging base or they won't upgrade.

    Done that, the base will start upgrading them one by one, you can check the progress in the Extensions page in the table showing the handsets.

    Hi and thanks for an answer, unfortunately it dosn't work.

    On the "Extension" side under "FWU Progress" i can see "Updating info" after that it comes the massage "Error", then again "Updating Info" and again "Error"

    an other question, we use a "Multi Cell" configuration. On that page there is a list "Base Station Group", is it irrelevant which of them is selectet as "Primary"?

    And if that doesn't work we would need a proper ticket from a partner to take a look into the logs, so please raise one if you are a Snom partner or ask your reseller/distributor to do so for you.

    About the second question, it doesn't matter usually which base is the primary, the system should be able to automatically choose the best one and change it if needed (if the automatic configuration of the DECT tree is enabled).
