This release does NOT directly include the OpenVPN feature in firmware file anymore. If you wish to use this feature please make sure to download and install the VPN feature.

Please be informed that we had to pull back the former Release 10.1.46.15 because of the blocking issue:

SAP-4288: The phone crashed when the monitored phone held the call #Asterisk

which is corrected with this Release 10.1.46.16 here (listed under corrections below)

Known issues and limitations:

SAP-3756: In a certain multicast scenario when a caller (B) is accepted by a phone (A) that receives already a multicast page, the caller cannot hear the audio from callee (A). This issue is isolated to D717, D735 & D335.

→ No workaround

SAP-3996: Support for Snom DECT dongle A230 is broken, - connected headsets Snom A150, A170, A171 or the DECT speaker Snom C52-SP do not work

→ No workaround, but we can provide a hotfix version with the required correction but for verification only (productive use is not supported) via ticket request in Snom support helpdesk

SAP-4089: If context-sensitive key gui_fkey4 is configured with an XML definition and user attempts to open Settings → Information → Status Info it can take about 4 seconds to show the info screen (takes a max. of 1 second normally).

→ No workaround, but we can provide a hotfix version with the required correction but for verification only (productive use is not supported) via ticket request in Snom support helpdesk

SAP-4231: Support for DHCP option 125 is broken

→ Workaround: we recommend using DHCP option 43 if possible as an alternative

SAP-4239: The setting transfer_dialing_on_transfer is not effective anymore. Even if set to attended the transfer performed will be a blind transfer

→ Workaround: we recommend using the new context-sensitive key "Attended" to perform an attended transfer, please see SAP-3692 listed in New features below.

SAP-1312: The LLDP - VLAN - Fallback did not work without a disconnect, the new setting [wiki:lldp network policy timeout] allows to tune the timing \[SCPP-6394\]
SAP-1752: Unknown key events were shown as "Accepted Calls" in the WUI, which led to a configuration change of "Accepted Calls" if applied or respectively a setting save event did happen
SAP-2849: The dial tone was not played when making new call during transfer setup with the setting [wiki:cw_dialtone]=off
SAP-2934: The [BLF|wiki:BLF - Busy lamp field] Re-SUBSCRIBE timer from PBX was ignored if Contact header is missing, which later led to an outage of BLF functionality \[SCPP-8626\]
SAP-3109: In status messages Right-to-Left text (for RTL languages) was not correctly aligned to the right
SAP-3232: If a server based conference had more than 4 participants the PUI stopped presenting the list and the call status
SAP-3522: When plain text provisioning instead of XML was used additional identities (ID 02 and higher) did not register on first attempt, a manual re-registration did work (or just a reboot, which leads to a re-registration)
SAP-3534: The phone did lookup it's own number in [LDAP|wiki:LDAP Directory] on every incoming INVITE if the domain in the To header is different than the registrar
SAP-3545: When changing the Volume, the PUI presented the "Headset Volume" instead of "Ringer Volume" if headset mode was active and [Ringer Device|wiki:ringer_headset_device] configured to both \[SCPP-8880\]

SAP-4014: The time shown in local call history detail was not correct, difference was varying with the selected [wiki:timezone]
SAP-4015: When attempting to download a firmware image from a web server that requires [TLS|wiki:TLS SUPPORT] client authentication the phone presents the device certificate, but was not sending the full certificate chain
SAP-4128: On all monochrome display phones the call information scrolling was not working in ringing state (long texts were cut when available space is exceeded)
SAP-4288: The phone crashed when the monitored phone held the call #Asterisk
SAP-4399: The translation for DND active screen in Russian language was corrected
