According to the product description at https://service.snom.com/download/attachments/106955103/snom_300_datasheet_en-4-0-2.pdf?api=v2 PoE should be supported, while on the phone that I received there is no mention of PoE on the 2 Ethernet ports and trying to connect any of them to a PoE source does not power the phone. The power outlet should not be needed...

    Hi Luca, 

    the snom 300 support POE over the "NET" RJ45 port. Have you test the POE conection with another IP phone, the phone with another POE injector/switch or an external PSU??

    The 300 is EoS since 2016. The phone could also be defrctive after years of use.
