Description

This setting, which replaced the obsolete setting ldap_sort_results, can be used to specify which sorting mode will apply to the LDAP sorting. And the sorting rule is specified on ldap_sort_parameters.

Valid Values

• "client"   - The LDAP client side sorting is applied to sort the LDAP result set.
• "server"  - The LDAP server side sorting via the control OID 1.2.840.113556.1.4.473 (RFC-2891) is applied.
• "none"    - No LDAP sorting is applied.
